First use

Before first use, heat the pan for 2–3 minutes on low-medium heat with a teaspoon of high smoke-point oil (avocado oil recommended). The more you cook with it, the better the non-stick performance becomes.

Is titanium really safe to cook with?

Yes. Titanium is biocompatible — it's the same material surgeons implant into the human body. It is completely inert, does not react with food or acids, and releases zero substances.

Does Last Pan contain PFAS or coatings?

No. Last Pan is 100% PFAS-free, PTFE-free, and contains no coating of any kind. It is solid titanium. There is nothing that can break down or end up in your food.

Why is my food sticking?

Which oil is best?

Avocado oil is our favorite (smoke point ~518°F / 270°C). Butter or ghee for flavor on low heat. Extra virgin olive oil for everyday cooking. Avoid sunflower oil for initial seasoning and never use cooking spray from a can.

Can I use metal utensils?

Yes, always. There is no coating to damage. Metal spatulas, steel utensils, and even steel wool are safe for daily use.
